The ReWind series exists as merely an aid in the discovery (or rather, rediscovery) of the unintentionally forgotten, or the often overlooked tracks of yesteryear.
On the decade anniversary of its release, it’s time to look back on the tremendous collaboration that (coincidentally or not) occupied the 10th spot in Nicholas Bennison‘s very own Propulsion Records.
Unleashed onto the unsuspecting speakers of trance fans all over on December 5th 2005, Christopher Lawrence and Nicholas Bennison‘s joint effort was all about the incredibly addictive mid 2000s trance sound (or what the folks at Christopher’s Pharmacy Music would now call ‘underground trance’). Just as its name implies, Scorcher will give a thorough warm-up to your sound system, thanks to its punchy, driving arrangement and satisfying lead. This’ll get you off your chair forcefully and, if you happen to be driving, the wish to put the pedal to the metal on the open highway will become all that harder to overcome. Drivers beware.
Until next week, enjoy the white-hot Scorcher:
