The ReWind series exists as merely an aid in the discovery (or rather, rediscovery) of the unintentionally forgotten, or the often overlooked tracks of yesteryear.
Since today (or rather, tonight) is Halloween, I though I’d share a darker track for the ReWind feature of the week. Nope, we’re not going the progressive route, rather we’re focusing on something towards the harder end of the spectrum.
2001 is the year, Pulsive is the label, and Italian producer Massimo Briganti is the one supplying the goods. Under his Max B. Grant moniker he packaged and delivered the hard hitting Progressive Halloween in all of its glory, complete with appropriately atmospheric breakdown and chill inducing build-up. However, we’re not focusing on the original, but rather on a rework from German producer Dirk Nothroff.
The Crow cleans up the instrumental, giving a little more umph to the arrangment and making the melodic aspect stand out even more so than in the original version. It’s equal parts energy and atmosphere, with the end result being a noteworthy hard trance Halloween anthem.
Until next week, I’ll leave you with The Crow and his remix of Progressive Halloween. 🙂
