Madagascar is the 4th single off of Paul Oakenfold‘s Trance Mission cover album. Not only does one get the original, but also 3 other reinterpretations from the likes of Yahel, Harmonic Rush and Mac & Monday.
Originally released in 1998 by Art Of Trance, Madagascar has gotten a fresh new take from Oakenfold, but if you don’t really like this version, you’re in luck.
The Yahel remix swings the needle firmly into prog-psy territory with a groovy reheat of Paul’s cover. On the other hand, the Harmonic Rush remix goes to the other end of the scale, with the signature acids and Oriental flair that we’ve come to expect from the Emirati producer.
Last, but most certainly not least, the Mac & Monday remix strikes a happy middle ground, managing to be both energetic and relaxing at the same time. Very upbeat and with FX reminiscent of Here Comes The Snd, this one will definitely grab your attention. Heck, it got mine, that’s why I’ve picked it for today’s feature. 🙂
