It’s late (at least in my part of the world), so how about some deep house for a change?
Sure, keen observers will notice that the label under which these couple of tracks are being released is Anjuadeep. While the imprint is known for its more progressive sound (both house and trance), in recent times it has shifted focus to deep house. Frankly (and I’m being completely subjective here), it’s a much nicer evolution than its sister label, Anjunabeats. But enough about that.
Making their debut on Anjuadeep are Italian producers Thomas Schwartz and Fausto Fanizza with this deep double track EP You Would / Mad Dog. The one that I’ll be focusing on is the latter of the two.
Mad Dog is a typical deep house track, with crunchy bass lines and really laid back vibe, light percussion and plenty of use of vocal chops throughout the production. It has a very relaxing atmosphere and the subtle melodic accents only come to enhance it.
This finely crafted production will be released alongside You Would, on June 2nd. Until then, here’s some deep house for ya :
