One of Paul Oakenfold’s most successful tracks to date gets a 2014 makeover, courtesy of John Dopping.
Used in movies such as The Matrix, Bourne Identity, Collateral and games like Juiced and DR Ultramix, plus countless other tv programmes, there’s a good chance you’ve heard the original at least once. Since Hollywood movies sometimes get updated versions and whatnot, why shouldn’t tracks?
For today’s recommendation, I’ve chosen John Dopping‘s rework of Ready, Steady, Go. He skillfully takes the original riff and puts it atop an interestingly revamped instrumental which gives it a darker, calmer, yet still addictive sound. Top work.
