The ReWind series exists as merely an aid in the discovery (or rather, rediscovery) of the unintentionally forgotten, or the often overlooked tracks of yesteryear.
You might not know the name ATB (where have you been living for the past 15 years?!), but you’ll most definitely know his songs. From Don’t Stop, to Renegade, Ecstasy or No Silence, there’s no shortage of hits in the German producer’s back catalogue. There is one track thought, that trumps all of them.
If you go out on the street and ask people to tell you the name of an ATB track, some might not be able to give you an answer. That said, as soon as you’d play 9 PM, they would recognize it instantly. The short female vocal, along with the iconic guitar riff have made the original a mainstay in the collection of trance fans the world over.
The original is no doubt well known, so here’s the UK version of the single, virtually identical to Andre Tanneberger (ATB) & Ulrich “Spacekid” Poeppelbaum’s remix under their Sequential One moniker :
Country : UK / Style : Trance / Year : 1999 / Label : Ministry of Sound
