[Classic Trance Week] Chicane – Offshore

While I’m on vacation, you’ll receive a recommendation each day, for the next 7 days. Focusing on the classics and classic sounding trance productions, this is my attempt to highlight some of the tracks you might not have known about, but which are, no doubt, quality pieces of musical history.

Of course, this week would’ve been complete without at least mentioning another key producer that has marked the history of this complex and yet very simple to understand genre.

Day 5 is characterized by a much more relaxed vibe, thanks in part to the almost balearic sounds of Chicane‘s original interpretation of Offshore. An atmospheric track with a very summer-y feel and smooth melodies, this is the epitome of Nicholas Bracegirdle (Chicane) ‘s sound.

A truly brilliant thing to behold.
