[Classic Trance Week] Robert Miles – Children (Dream Version)

While I’m on vacation, you’ll receive a recommendation each day, for the next 7 days. Focusing on the classics and classic sounding trance productions, this is my attempt to highlight some of the tracks you might not have known about, but which are, no doubt, quality pieces of musical history.

Whether or not you listen (or have listened) to trance does not matter. You’re bound to have stumbled upon this absolute stunner of a track.

I’m talking of course about Robert Milles‘ Children, more specifically the Dream Version. Italian producer Roberto Concina, the man behind it all, was one of the front runners of the dream-house genre. This here is an example of what he does best, with the easy flowing and deeply melodic Children. The song catches your eye from the very first note and captures your attention until the very end.

If you still don’t know what I’m talking about, wait for the piano to kick in. Then you’ll know.

Country : Italy / Style : Dream – Trance / Year : 1995 / Label : DBX Records
